Ghoulish Goth Craft Projects for Long Winter Nights

What's a creative goth to do to while away the long, cold dark hours of winter nights? There's nothing to watch on TV: True Blood is off the air until June; both Being Human versions are on hiatus; and there's no new Walking Dead episodes until February 12.

Might as well light a toasty warm fire, pour a glass of port or sherry, and settle in to create some adorably spooky goth crafts.

Super Scary Crochet: 35 Gruesome Patterns to Sink Your Hook Into, on Amazon

Creepy Cute Crochet, on Amazon

"Creepy Cute Crochet" is definitely too cutesey for my taste, though I appreciate that they include a Cthulhu pattern. The other patterns include Nosferatu, the devil, the cute Grim Reaper pictured on the front cover, and a Queen Vampire.

Zombigami: Paper Folding for the Living Dead

I adore paper crafting. It's a bit less messy than other crafts, and the flat paper supplies typically are easier to store than say skeins of yarn or fabric. Here are several origami projects supposedly easy enough for even an eight year old. Everything you need is in the book. There are also some zombie tear-out posters included, though I'm not sure why.
