The Walking Dead Plush Toys

A new line of Walking Dead plush toys is out for fans of the show to enjoy. The toys are all a lot bigger than I would have expected them to be. I'm not sure if I'd spend the money for just a tombstone though.

The plush Michonne is as adorably pouty as the onscreen actress. (Also available on eBay.)

This plush Sheriff Rick Grimes looks like he is ready to handle just about anything. He's also available on eBay.

The series also includes a boy and girl zombie. I love that the boy zombie has lost his shoe!

Here's a set of all six Walking Dead plush toys: Rick Grimes, Michonne, two tombstones and two zombies.

Baby Shower Gifts for Goth Babies

This baby Cthulhu plush toy is called " My First Cthulhu."

Every goth newborn should start off with a nice cuddly spider toy. This one is called, "Timmy." It's by Skelanimals.

I don't really like the Beanie Babies brand, but I have to admit this plush Halloween bat is pretty adorable.

Tiny babies can't have toys in their cribs when they sleep. But this black kitty plush familiar can guard Baby from a perch on a nearby bookshelf or rocking chair!

My Six Favorite Black Chandelier Earrings for Goth Elegance

It took me until I was 40 years old to get over my squeamishness and get my ears pierced. Earrings like this brass filigree pair are what helped finally inspire me to get it done. From Etsy seller Feral Strumpet.

I have an embarrassing weakness for Tarina Tarantino jewelry. Her brand name sadly makes these lovely jet black chandelier earrings cost about 60% more than they would otherwise.

I often like to dress with simple understated elegance, so these black drop earrings would be just dressy enough but not too over the top.

It's hard to see in this tiny picture, but these black chandelier earrings have Burtonesque spirals and swirls in their texture.

I can't afford really nice vintage Victorian earrings, so I'm a huge fan of the 1928 jewelry company's lines. Here are some lovely noir black crystal earrings from them.

Since I wouldn't personally be able to see these spider chandelier earrings dangling from my ears all day, I think I'd like to wear them. I can't handle looking at spiders, so I'm not sure how I'd get these into my earlobes though, with my eyes closed!

Tonner's Newest Goth Doll - Maudlynne Macabre

I really respect the Tonner Doll company - they work really hard to be individual, use quality fabrics and materials, and research their dolls and styles very carefully before creating a new doll. I never feel like they are co-opting goth or being disrespectful towards it, nor greedily trying to make money off our subculture. Their dark dolls are so beautiful and costumed so nicely.

This is Maudlynne Macabre, introduced in the last couple of months. She's meant to depict a ten year old living in an old Victorian mansion in New York. I love her black and violet eyes and the fact she has a very unusual face shape for a doll. She doesn't make me think of Emily the Strange, either, which is a relief.

Bat Shaped Salt and Pepper Shakers

This Bat-shaped salt and pepper set is by Uglydoll.

It's a two-piece set with removable heads.

The salt and pepper shakers are pretty small, measuring just three inches tall.

Fun Jack Skellington Hats

I wish that Elope would include a picture of this adorable Jack Skellington Mini Top Hat being worn on a model so we could understand exactly what "mini" looks like. (Obviously, the top hat's dimensions are not as tall as a regular top hat, but I'd like to see how it rests on an average person's head). Love the striped ribbons on the back! Also available on eBay.

I can't say I'm a fan of this mini top hat from Disney Parks. The plastic decorations just look cheap and fragile. If you really must, it's also sold on eBay.

Here's a Jack Skellington top hat with a cute bat on the rim. It's also available on eBay.

This quirky, pointy Jack Skellington Santa hat should be worn year-round as the mood strikes you, not just on Halloween and on Christmas! A similar one, with red Santa hat, is sold on eBay.

This plush Jack Skellington hat with mittens looks so soft and cuddly!

For winter, this Jack Skellington snood will keep you toasty warm.

This Jack Skellington Peruvian hat is good for days when it's a bit cold and rainy but not snowing.

I love the jaunty pompom on the top of this black Jack Skellington beanie hat.

If you prefer a simpler design, here's a nice red and black striped beanie hat with Jack on it.

It's a shame that annoying hipsters have ruined fedoras for the time being. Here's a simple Jack Skellington fedora, in black of course.

This cute hat has Jack Skellington ear flaps.

This Jack Skellington beanie has hot pink and a pompom. A great perkygoth selection!
