Dark and Spooky Calendars for 2014

I love this concept! Here's a Literary Calendar: The Dark Side calendar for 2014, featuring classic horror literature books: Dracula, Frankenstein, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and more.

Inside, the calendar features a dark illustration from a scene in each book. Great gift for your literary minded goth friends!

This Twilight Zone calendar features creepy images from classic episodes including "The Invaders," "The Masks," "The Howling Man," "The Fugitive" and "The Living Doll."

This "Cult Attack 2014" calendar features vintage sci fi and horror B movie cult films, including "Dracula," "Creature from the Black Lagoon," "The Beetle" and "Terror from the Year 5000."

For something starkly beautiful, here's Simon Marsden's 2014 "Haunted Realm" photography calendar. Every year I look forward to seeing his new dark architectural photographs.

I suspect most of you will find this Sugar Skulls calendar too colorful and cheerful. I thought I'd include it in this list though since El Dia de Los Muertos is so popular this year!

This Gorgeous and Gory zombie pinup calendar isn't right for just anyone on your list, but it sure is cool for zombie fans.

For a less sexy, more morbid take on zombies, here's the 2014 Zombies wall calendar. Festive, what with all that red!

Here's my personal favorite: The Nightmare Before Christmas calendar for 2014. Can hardly wait til it's time to hang this in my kitchen!

For lovers of dark fantasy art, here's the 2014 calendar by Victoria Frances, the Spanish fantasy illustrator.

Fans of the whimsically macabre might enjoy this 2014 Edward Gorey calendar.

Happy dark holidays!
