Gothic Crock Pots for Dark and Gloomy Kitchens

I saw this chevron Crock-Pot at my local Fred Meyer tonight and was sorely tempted to goth up my kitchen a bit.

I love this black and white damask Crock-Pot. It would look much better on my kitchen counter than the puke green one I have right now!

I love the scrollwork on this black damask crock-pot.

This black and white crock-pot could work in a more modern gothic kitchen.

So would this black and white casserole slow cooker!

I suppose you could work this Bella Diamonds crock-pot into a steampunk theme kitchen.

Wish I Had What it Takes to Wear Hades' Amazing Goth and Steampunk Shoes

What's not to love about this? Shiny red patent leather, tons of metal, and the shoe is called Ripley? (I assume after the kick ass character from Alien?) Ripley shoes are also available on eBay.

Here's a wickeder version, all spiky, called Talon. It comes in several colors, not just the burgundy pictured.

These Sky Captain steampunk shoes look really incredibly cool. But can anybody really walk on those extremely high, narrow heels? They're also sold on eBay.

Enough buckles for ya?

Hades named this animal print shoe "Predator."

Now here are some heels I might be able to manage! Love these boots! I notice I'm linking lots of burgundy colored stuff today. Must be a phase I'm in. These boots are also sold via eBay.

These boots are called "Raven." They're also available on eBay.

Here's something you don't see every day - Steampunk sneakers?

I've always had a weakness for granny boots. Here's a set of steampunk ones.

Dark Literary Classics Wall Calendar for A Gothic New Year

This 2015 Dark Literary Classics wall calendar dark commemorates books, novellas and short stories including Charlotte Perkins Gilman's "The Yellow Wallpaper," "The Turn of the Screw," "Alice in Wonderland," "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea," "Little Red Riding Hood" and more.

Each month when you turn over the new page, you'll be tempted to re-read the book or story featured that month!

Cthulhu Calendar for an Unsettling Goth Christmas Gift

I'm surprised that Flame Tree (a British publisher more known for Art Deco artwork) put out this 2015 Cthulhu calendar. Still, I'm delighted to see it's available!

It's a 12 month calendar featuring artwork by several different dark artists. Let's peek inside:

If you give this calendar as a gift to someone this darkened holiday season, be sure to wrap it in Winged Cthulhu gift wrap from Zazzle!

Pullip's Gorgeous Carmilla Vampire Doll for The Halloween Season

Pullip's vampire-themed doll, Carmilla, was just released in time for Halloween, mid-October 2014.

She wears an intricate black and red lacy velvet and brocade lace dress and black veil, plus a two strand necklace.

Check out her adorable, erm, I mean vicious, little fangs!

She does look quite strikingly similar to Pullip's Elisabeth vampire doll from 2010.

Alice in Wonderland Play Yard for Baby Goths

This Alice in Wonderland play yard is probably the closest thing you're going to get to gothic-looking official Disney merchandise for your baby. If only they'd make a Nightmare Before Christmas version!!

Gothic Antiques for Dark Home Decor

This is an antique bat-shaped door knocker that doubles as a mail slot cover. It's made from cast iron.

I am swooning over this wrought iron bat fireplace screen! It's not an antique, but is Mission Style and rather looks that way.

These bat bookends are from 1925. What a way to spiff up your goth reference library shelves!

Funny Vintage Beetlejuice Games and Playsets

The Beetlejuice Gross Out Meter box says "Get a reading on those gross people in your neighborhood and zap 'em with The Flying Bug." I have to admit this doesn't look all that fun to play with!

The Beetlejuice Vanishing Vault playset doesn't look very much fun either, really. I guess you put the little action figure into the vault and hide him? Kids must have been pretty hard up for entertainment back in the 1980s.

Would You Carry This Retro Purse?

Is anyone here old enough to remember when phones looked like this? This retro phone purse is from a Japanese seller of Gothic Lolita clothes and accessories.

The purse phone also comes in red.
