Dark and Dreary Skull Bedding from Ink and Rags

I just finished re-carpeting a spare bedroom so I've been thinking I should just redecorate the whole room. The best part about this room is that it's downstairs where all the entertainment is anyway! I don't use it as a "showroom" so I can go crazy with it! I figured I would start with some bedding that I found by Ink and Rags on Etsy. If you like skeletons or other dark designs for bedding, then join me!

This Featherweight Death Moth Skull Bedding is something Buffalo Bill would invest in. I can imagine decorating my room black and white with red accents. I could even get some gorgeous blackout curtains. I could create a whole Silence of the Lambs theme if I really wanted to. This is clearly a great ominous bedroom idea. The bedding is the best part!

Little goths would absolutely love this Jack Skellington Style Fleece Bedding. It's a very hypnotizing design! I feel like I'm getting lost in Jack already. Since it's black and white it would be really easy to decorate the room with this cover. I could paint my walls practically any color I wanted, which I was thinking red this time!

Speaking of red, I am really enjoying this Vintage Skull Pattern Bedding! The hints of Victorian and modern designs combine to make one great sinister set! I feel like this bedding gives steampunk a dark spin. This might be the keeper! I want to see if there are others that catch my eye though.

Lately I've been rereading some of Poe's works for a project. It was almost as if this Skull & Raven Design Bedding was meant to be. It definitely reminds me of "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe! My favorite part of this bedding is the eerie glow from the moon behind the raven and skull. Not only that, the artistic expression is better than realism in this case, in my opinion. It's beautiful isn't it?

This Anatomical Heart Design Bedding is absolutely stunning. The black and cream flowers and heart are very cool, but what do you think of the background? I don't think this is how it actually is, but it almost has an "oil slick" look to it. The blending of colors I think are so delicate that it just gives it that color changing look. Perfect!

I am considering remodeling the room with this Octopus Skull Bedding. Having a Cthulhu inspired room might be a really cool idea! I know Lovecraft wouldn't oppose! Plus it's a very simplistic design with basic colors, so decorating would be very easy to do. How would you create your Lovecraftian room?

Did you see something you liked, but not loved? I'm sure you will find something at Ink and Rags on Etsy. There are plenty of options to choose from and slight variations of the same style as well! Take a look and let me know what you think in the comments below!
