iRebell's Gothic Smartphone Cases and Bags

I wanted to show you the delightful iRebell shop on Etsy. This German company specializes in alternative bags, handbags and some home decor (mostly pillows).

Here's their Vampire shoulder bag, which seems to be a nice unisex option.

This is their "Vampires Flight" shoulder bag.

I love the lacy look of this Vlad gothic shoulder bag.

Here's their Vlad pillow for your vampire-themed bedroom!

See what else is for sale at the iRebell shop!

A Handful of Dark and Gothic Coloring Books to Mitigate Summer Travel Boredom

If you're doing a lot of traveling this summer, whether on an airplane, boat or road trip, you might want to occupy yourself with a dark and lovely coloring book (in between listening to your goth music, watching movies on your tablet, etc!) Here are some of my recent favorites:

I can't believe this Nightmare Before Christmas coloring book has been out for two weeks and I don't own one yet! Rectifying that immediately!

The Neil Gaiman Coloring Book features scenes and characters from Neil's books for children, including The Graveyard Book; Coraline; Fortunately, the Milk; Instructions; and Crazy Hair.

Or you might be interested in the American Gods coloring book.

I'm actually quite tempted by the Alien coloring book. Wouldn't it use up most of my green and red crayons though?

If you're looking to while away your time with something a little more gory, how about The Beauty of Horror II coloring book?

This Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Big Bads & Monsters coloring book would be really fun if you're participating in a Buffy re-watch.

The H.P. Lovecraftcoloring book comes out in September, just in time for Labor Day Weekend travel boredom to kick in! It features activities and puzzles as well as coloring pages.

>Here's a new twist on adult coloring books: The Extreme Stickering Day of the Dead. When you're done placing the stickers, you can pull out the page to frame for your bedroom wall.

Imagine the dark, macabre edge you could give the costumes in this Burlesque coloring book!

Here's one of the weirder, creepier coloring books recently published: Carnival oddities. It's a grayscale coloring book.

The Mystic Misfits coloring book features the art of White Stag.

Sadly, we'll have to wait until October for the Labyrinth adult coloring book to come out!

Enjoy your creepy coloring projects!

Two Cute New Isadora Moon Vampire Books for Little Darklings

These darling Isadora Moon books feature a half-vampire, half-fairy girl who always has magical adventures. She loves bats, sunshine and nighttime - pretty incongruous, I admit! Two new books about her are coming out in August. They're meant for kids aged 6-9 years.

Let's take a look:

Believe it or not, I do know a few goth families who enjoy camping. (I am not completely sure how I am friends with such odd people, to be honest! Camping? Bleck). The newest Isadora Moon book, Isadora Moon Goes Camping, might be a nice gift for their younger kids to read on the way to the campground.

Next up is Isadora Moon Goes to School, featuring a dilemma: Should she go to fairy school or vampire school? (My vote, if I got one, would be for vampire school!)

You might enjoy checking out this post on the author's blog about all the different foreign editions of the book covers. I much prefer the striped tent on the cover of the international versions!
