A Nightmare Before Christmas Snow Day

We’ve been having a lot of snow days in many cities and regions across the US. It was fun the first couple times, but now it’s getting old. How shall we amuse ourselves when we can’t go out to our usual merriment making venues?

How about some Nightmare Before Christmas suggestions?

If you can’t go out and play, plan a cozy day indoors with The Nightmare Before Christmas. Put the movie on in the background, put on your Jack Skellington sweater socks, and make yourself a pot of your favorite hot caffeinated beverage (tea for me, please!)

You might sip your beverage from a Jack Skellington mug!

Perhaps you’d prefer to pad around your house in these Zero slipper socks!

If it’s really cold where you live, or your furnace isn’t quite up to the task, dress in this Nightmare Before Christmas Onesie for adults!

You can while away the bleak hours trying to complete the Nightmare Before Christmas Rubik’s Cube.

Find out if it was Oogie Boogie in his Lair with a Zombie Duck, in a suspenseful game of Nightmare Before Christmas Clue!

I admit that not everyone enjoys playing Monopoly. But, if your power is out, and you have a flashlight and a couple of candles and a long dark night ahead of you, you might be able to rouse a few family members to play Nightmare Before Christmas Monopoly!

Or perhaps you prefer a fast-moving game of dice to a slow-rolling board game? In that case here’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Yahtzee game!

When your kids come back in finally tuckered out from playing in the snow, send them into a far off corner of the house to play Nightmare Before Christmas Operation. (It gets noisy!)

If you’re not in the mood for a competitive game, perhaps you might prefer to curl up in a quiet corner and spend a happy hour or two coloring in your Nightmare Before Christmas coloring book?

You might use your snow day as an opportunity to delve into some divination and New Year’s reflections via your Nightmare Before Christmas Tarot Deck.

Enjoy your Snow Day – stay safe and cozy!
