For those of you who didn’t know, the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies book is being made into a movie. I just discovered this and am incredibly thrilled! If you haven’t read the book, I’m sure you can guess the plot of the book/movie, but here’s a little explanation. This is a “mashup” parody of the original Jane Austen novel Pride and Prejudice, but in an alternate universe where zombies also roam the earth.
Mr. Bennet trains his four daughters to be zombie killing machines while Mrs. Bennet is still eager to find her daughters wealthy husbands. The mashup book still has a very similar story to Pride and Prejudge, but the plot is just a little more badass. Who thought that was even possible? At any rate, what’s even better about the movie coming out is that Funko Pop has made Pride and Prejudice and Zombie Pop! vinyl figures!
Just a forewarning: These are not available quite yet, but the seed has been planted. Feast your eyes on the sassy Elizabeth Bennet and her beautiful sister Jane Bennet. You can also buy Jane and Elizabeth Bennet on eBay.
Of course, you need to have the super amazing Mr. Darcy to go along with your Elizabeth Bennet. (He’s also available on eBay). You know what else will make your collection complete? An actual zombie of Mrs. Featherstone! She’s also sold via eBay.
And next, we have the Mr. Collins Funko. He is the clergyman cousin of Mr. Bennet and heir to their estate. I would pair him with my favorite, for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Lady Catherine. Parson Collins is available on eBay as well, and so is Lady Catherine.
